Brian M Helmer
March 28, 1945 ~ August 8, 2024
Brian Helmer was a remarkable man who touched so many lives. He was a dedicated husband, father and Papa with a great sense of humor. Brian’s seven grandchildren were one of the greatest joys in his life. He was a man who was faithful to his God, his family, and his country.
A Michigan native, he graduated from Central Michigan University with degrees in both Chemistry and Math, later earning an MBA from Eastern Michigan University. After proudly serving in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and the Army Reserves, Brian enjoyed a fulfilling career as an engineer with Ford Motor Company for 30 years. Fishing, golfing, reading, and hunting were some of his favorite pastimes. Brian loved being outdoors and enjoyed many camping trips with his wife Linda and his daughters. In 2010, Brian and his wife Linda moved to Canyon Lake, California, where they cherished their time spent traveling and golfing. In July of 2024, Brian and Linda, who met on a blind date in 1969, celebrated 55 years of marriage.

Brian was a special guy_in my case a dear brother. I’ll miss him a lot, but I know he’s in a much greater place with a seat in our Father’s home-makes me feel so much better knowing that. So Linda, Lori, Angie, Melanie and all- I and my life friend Joni are sending love and condolences with this message. Wish I were there to give you all hugs. God’s blessings to everyone and especially for my brother Brian.
