Cheryl- the best word that best described her....she's a 'FIGHTER'. She fought not only the hardships in life but also the disease that got into her system.Born in Quezon City Phillippines, She was the youngest of six sisters and next to the youngest of eight siblings. She grew up in Quezon City. Went to public school for her elementary years and finished high school in FEU. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Chinese General Hospital, Manila. She dreamed of a better life....and holding to this dream, decided with her sister who was also a nurse, to find work in the Middle East. In 1989 she migrated to the USA where she met her husband Robert. They were blessed with two wonderful children, Rembrandt and Reinhardt. As a person, Cheryl always aspired for something different, something extra ordinary in everything she did. She wanted to make every moment memorable for everyone. She laughed a lot, joked a lot, and treasured so much her frienships. This is evident by all of you who will stop whatever you are doing, take a break and then go out of your way to be with us as we gather together to celebrate her life. A treasured friend came all the way from Texas to be with her during her last days. This is how far she had developed the special value of friendship. She also loved adventure....even in the midst of her sickness it did not hinder her desire from conquering new places. She traveled alot with her family.Together with her husband Robert, their family faced and fought a lot of difficulties, struggles and challenges in life that motivated and raised them to where they are now.As a mother, she disciplined well her children and nurtured them with her love. As a wife, she was very caring and firm. As a person she loved to talk and share her experiences with others. She was very caring, friendly and had high concern for others. With her passing we will surely miss her lauhter, friendship, stories and most of all her unconditional love for all of us.We will surely miss your company, Cheryl. However, since you will be joining our Creator, this is as well the time for us to rejoice.
