Jennifer, I am sorry about your loss. I never knew your dad, but I did know your his dad, your grandfather James Elliott who was my great Uncle Jimmy. My father is George French if that name rings a bell. George was his nephew by marriage. Uncle Jimmy was married Aunt Lee, my grandma French’s sister! I live in Kansas City and work as a professional counselor. Uncle Jimmy was one of my favorite people and we were penpals during my teenage years through my late 20s. We lost touch several years before he passed away. I had always wanted to meet more of his family as I have such huge respect for him. He poured so much wisdom into my life and I had only met him twice. Our relationship was mostly through letters. Some that I still have. I am now 57 years old, married with 4 grandchildren.
