Dear Key Family,
I am a teacher at Vail Ranch Middle School, teaching 6th-grade math. Although Dylan was not one of my students, I did have the privilege of seeing him in every school performance. He brought such joy and enthusiasm to every performance. I do remember always seeing Dylan with a smile on his face spreading joy to everyone who encountered him. Please accept my deepest condolences to the entire Key Family. As Psalm 121 tells us; “I lift up my eyes to the hills; from where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” In times of trial and challenge – in times of grief and loss – we are called to lift our eyes to God – for He is our help; our hope, and our strength.
Matthew 5:4: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

I knew Dylan from my dance class. He was such a great person, friend, dancer and more. He would always make the class laugh and giggle with joy every time he made a joke. I remember he would always have a smile on his face. I hope he is having the best time in heaven.

We weren’t really friends but sometimes we’d walk in the same path. i wish i would’ve said hi some time. i saw him before break in peer leaders. he sat in the chair in front of me, a unforgettable smile. he was taken to quickly. may he rest peacefully.

I work at VRMS. Dylan was one of my students. He would often time, come into the hallway with his peers and work in a group on math. I would be instructing the group. I had him in 7th grade math with Mr. Rick’s.
He really was a happy soul. Always smiling and in a positive mood. Had the best smile. May you rest in peace buddy. 🙏
