Gaspar Gorbea Affectionately known as: Honey, dad, papa and grandpa October 23 1939 - June 29, 2012 Born in San Dulce Puerto Rico and moved to NY when he was 7. Lived in NY for 53years and moved to Temecula when he was 60 yrs. Gaspar married his high school sweetheart on April 4, 1959. They had 3 kids and raised many more. He was the kind of man that would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He loved the game of baseball and was a huge Yankee fan. As a young man he played baseball, and managed a youth team for 15 years. When he could no longer play, coach, or manage, he coached his grandson's games from the sidelines. He loved music and goofing around. He is survived by his wife the love of his life Ramona Gorbea, his sister Joey, his 3 kids Gaspar Gorbea Jr., Dennis Gorbea and Evelyn Gorbea, his 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and all those that he helped raised. He will be dearly missed and loved always! There is a viewing & visitation at England Family Chapel on Tuesday, July 3, from 4:00 until 8:00pm. His life will be remembered and celebrated during the last hour of visitation.
