Geraldine Pfest

Geraldine May Pfest, 82, (12/31/28 – 4/10/11) died at her residential care home, Pine Tree Cottage in Temecula surrounded by close family and friends. She is survived by daughters Debra Elton and Carol Segar, grandchildren Clare and Jack Segar, sister Joan Carruthers of Minnesota and nephews Paul and David.Geraldine worked as an information operator for Pacific Bell Telephone for 27 years in Buena Park. After she retired, she and second husband, Howard moved to the small town of Anza. She became extremely involved in town and enjoyed her church life as well as volunteering in many community organizations. She was an amazing woman who made lasting friendships with whomever she’d meet. She was always a Lady who clung to her mid-western roots. She loved the Lord, her family and her dear friends. She will be missed greatly.Her service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Anza Baptist Church in Anza, California followed by a luncheon.
