Harold Leroy Samuelson, age 81 of Temecula, California, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Harold was born March 29, 1931 in Willmar, MN to Clifford L. and Edna (Helgrimson) Samuelson. He graduated from Willmar High School. Harold was a war veteran and served the United States Army during the Korean War. After leaving the military he went to work for the gas company from which he retired 1986, following 22 years of service. He met Renee Inez Williams of Minneapolis, MN in 1950. They were married on May 15, 1952 and spent 59 loving years together. They relocated to California in 1959. Harold was a very generous man with a big heart and he loved his family dearly. He had a great sense of humor and always kept you laughing. He enjoyed camping, fishing and playing billiards. He loved spending time with his friends of which there were many. The thing he loved most of all was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include the love of his life, wife Renee Samuelson of Temecula, CA; two daughters, Nancy Samuelson of Green, OH; Susan (Steve) Rupert of Yorba Linda, CA; three sons, David Samuelson of Anaheim, CA; Jon (Ruth) Samuelson of Laguna Niguel, CA; Lee (Rhonda) Samuelson of Corona, CA; sisters, Rosamond Smith of Willmar, MN; Donna Asche of Willmar, MN; six grandchildren, Laura, Adam, Landon, Ashton, Kurt and Renee; two great grandchildren, Brighton and Owen. He was preceded in death by his first born child, a precious daughter (baby girl Samuelson), his parents and three brothers Earl, Dan and Paul Sanuelson. His presence will be sorely missed by all; however, he will remain alive in our hearts and memories forever. We love you.
