Irma de Jesus Saez

IRMA J. SAEZ (nee Irma de Jesus) sadly passed away on February 10, 2025 at her home in Temecula, California at the age of 88. She was born in a small town of Abra De Ilog in Occidental Mindoro, Philippines on October 4, 1936 to Amado de Jesus and Matilde Villamin both deceased, who were agricultural landowners.
The only girl and the eldest among five siblings, she was the darling and “Ate” of the family. A devoted Catholic, she finished her elementary and high school at Holy Infant Academy, followed by completing her post-secondary education at Philippine Normal College, majoring in Home Economics.
Considered the most beautiful girl in her hometown, she was dubbed as the “beauty queen”. Later in her adult years, she won more beauty titles as:
*Miss Philippine Normal College in 1956
*Miss Philippine Coed of the Year in 1957
*Finalist, Miss Philippines Pageant in 1958
Irma enjoyed cooking, baking, cross-stitching, working on puzzles, watching her favorite Filipino soap operas, playing online word games, designing bonsai plants, and caring for dog pets.
A woman of a few words, she touched the lives of many people for her kindness, patience, forgiving nature, understanding, humility, and compassion. She was a homemaker who dedicated her life to her family, a loving and caring wife, Mom, and “Mommy Irma” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who would secretly indulge them with her stashed away snacks when the parents were not looking. Her life was a blessing, and her memory, a treasure, that will never be forgotten.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Francisco C. Saez, Jr., a real estate business executive, 5 children, Deanne, Doris (Bobby) Ragon, Ditas (Kevin) Pahl, Dennis, Jeric (Leslie) Saez, 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and siblings, Ting (Margaret) De Jesus and Nally (Lorna) De Jesus.
Please join us in celebrating her life on February 17, 2025, Monday from 2-6pm at England Family Mortuary, 27135 Madison Avenue Temecula.
