James was extremely welcoming to myself and my family a year ago when we moved in to the neighborhood. He immediately greeted us and cheerfully gave us a mason jar of his homemade pickles. Which are delicious! Ever since then he has always been welcoming and a great person to have a conversation with about anything. Every morning he would stand out in the drive way wearing his grey sweatpants and his tiedie shirt drinking coffee just checking or the neighborhood. Just a few weeks ago we had a great conversation about having kids and he once again gave have us some of his homemade spicy veggies in a mason jar he told me to wait a few weeks till I eat them but in his memory I think I’m gonna enjoy. I pray for his family. Thank you Jim
