Gone way too soon my friend. I will always remember you saying “if it ain’t the moneyman” when showing up on scene to investigate a late night fire. Thank you for your sense of humor and being yet another “good guy” in my life and all of those you served with. You will be missed..

The world has lost another great one. Jim was one of the most respected and loved firefighters on the Downey Fire Department. He was the same modest, friendly guy every time you were around him. He was a hard worker and did just about everything himself.
A dedicated family man. Jim and Sheryl adopted our dog, Pepper, when we moved to Murrieta 27 years ago. I’m thinking you might be petting that dog right now up there Jim.

I am so very sorry for this loss. Jim was a good man. 🙏🩷 He always had a way of making you comfortable and sharing a laugh. Rest easy sweet man. You will be missed

We had the privilege of living next door to the Marsh family for 16 years. Jim was always there for someone in need and all around nice guy. We are so saddened for the loss his family is experiencing and will continue to keep them in our prayers. We take comfort in the hope we have in Christ and knowing Jim has stepped into eternity with Jesus.
