I am truly saddened to learn of John’s passing. As his cousin I remember great times with him many years ago. Praying for healing and comfort for Carol and all of John’s family.
John was always “big guy” and I was always “tall guy”. Once John transferred down to run the San Diego operation, we quickly became fast friends. He was like a wise older brother to me and I loved him. He always watched out for me and constantly put my best interests before his own. That is the kind of man that he was.
We may not have talked as much over the last few years, but I always knew he was there for me if I needed anything.
Carol, Jenny, Julie, and families, I wish I could be there on Saturday to honor him, but last Tuesday, I tested positive for Covid and I am still in quarantine.
