Jorge Orlando Murillo

Jorge Orlando Murillo, 75, of Temecula, CA (previously of San Diego, CA and Mexicali,
BC, MX), passed away unexpectedly and tragically on April 6th, 2024. He was a brilliant
corporate labor and international law attorney, holding law degrees from prestigious
institutions in Mexico, the UK, and the US. Jorge had a deep passion for travel, having
explored various destinations in Mexico and Europe. An avid Beatles fan and history
enthusiast, he possessed a sharp intellect and could engage in insightful discussions on
a wide array of topics.
Above all, Jorge was known for his compassionate heart and unwavering dedication to
his family. He cherished his role as a loving husband, father, and grandfather, leaving
behind cherished memories that will forever be treasured by his children and
grandchildren.
Jorge is survived by his wife, Lucia, his loving children Elizabeth (Eddie Duarte), Jorge
(Kathleen), and Priscilla (Victor Bernal), as well as his grandchildren Anthony (17),
Amilia (8), Axel (15), Anabella (9), Charlotte (8 months), Angel (18) and Ivan (15).
He is also survived by his siblings Arturo Murillo and Gabriela Murillo Estrada and father
in law, Salvador Renteria and his numerous family in Mexicali, MX.
A funeral service to honor Jorge's life will be held on Friday, April 12th, from 5:30 pm to
7:00 pm, and Saturday, April 13th, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at England Family
Mortuary in Temecula, CA.
Jorge Orlando Murillo, 75, de Temecula, CA (San Diego, CA y Mexicali, BC),
lamentablemente nos dejó inesperada y trágicamente el 6 de abril de 2024. Fue un
brillante abogado corporativo especializado en derecho laboral e internacional, con
títulos de derecho en México, el Reino Unido y los Estados Unidos. Amaba viajar y
había pasado tiempo en varios lugares de México y Europa. Era un ávido fanático de
los Beatles y un entusiasta de la historia. Tenía una mente aguda y podía hablar con
inteligencia y elocuencia sobre casi cualquier tema.
Pero lo más importante, tenía un gran corazón y era un hombre de familia amoroso,
dedicado a sus hijos y nietos que siempre lo recordarán.
Le sobreviven su esposa, Lucía, sus hijos Elizabeth (Eddie Duarte), Jorge (Kathleen) y
Priscilla (Victor Bernal), y sus nietos, Anthony (17), Amilia (8), Axel (15), Anabella (9),
Charlotte (8 meses), Angel (18), y Ivan (15).
También lo sobreviven sus hermanos Arturo Murillo Murgia y Gabriela Murillo Murgia de
Estrada y su suegro, Salvador Renteria Uribe y su numerosa familia Murillo-Murgia.
Servicios funerarios se llevará a cabo en su honor el viernes 12 de abril de 5:30 pm a 7:00 pm y
el sábado 13 de abril de 9:30 am a 11:30 am en la Funeraria England Family, Temecula, CA.
