Hose Sablan Toves, also known as 'Peling', 70, was called to his eternal rest on Sunday, February 13, 2011. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends when he took his last breath. Jose was formerly of San Diego and moved to Murrieta after retiring from San Diego State University College with over 33 years of faithful service as a Building Maintenance Supervisor. Jose is survived by his wife, Helen Mendiola Horton Toves. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 6, 2011. Jose is also survived by his Daughters & Son In-Laws: Barbara & Edward, Sr. Castro, Mary & Adam Delfin and Jessica Lorraine Toves(deceased); Sons & Daughters In-Laws: Joseph & Angelica Toves, Peter(deceased) & Margie Toves, Norman & Julie Toves, Richard Toves, Lawrence Toves and Gilbert Toves; Sisters & Brothers In-Laws: Bennet & Del Iseman, Rose & Ambros(deceased) Fejeran, Evelyn & Tony Fejeran, Ruth & Jesse Mesa, Lydia & Art Fejerang and Linda & Tony Cruz; Brothers & Sis In-Laws: Herman(deceased) & Rosa Toves, Jesus(deaceased) & Francis Toves, Bob & Isabel(both deceased) Toves, David & Lisa Toves, and John & Julie Toves; 36 granchildren and their spouses and 19 great-grandchildren. The visitation will be 4:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, February 21, 2011 at England Family Mortuary in Temecula, California. A funeral mass will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at St. Martha's Catholic Church in Murrieta immediately followed by the burial at Laurel Cemetery in Murrieta, California.
