The first time I met Lorrie was when she came to visit the fire station loaded with snacks for the firemen right after the new store had opened. We are located just a couple blocks away so we saw Lorrie often. She had a heart warming smile and an incredible knack for knowing when to come by. We were instantly friends and enjoyed long talks, learning about each others life. Each time I went in to eat at CFA I asked to see Lorrie. Wednesday was no different, but the answer was different when they told me of the surgery. I am blessed and thankful to have had a wonderful visit with my friend that night. I know I will see her again, but for now there is a hole in my heart where I am missing her. May God give comfort to her family.
