It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Stephen Colburn, who left us on February 3, 2025 at the age of 68. He was born in Santa Monica, California to his late parents George and Marjorie Colburn and their 7 other children; Peg. George, Pat(deceased), Don, Kevin, Mary, and Scott.

After many years struggling and suffering with heart and kidney disease, God brought him home. He was a true fighter, known for his unwavering strength, resilience and determination throughout his journey.

Mark was known for his quick wit and infectious sense of humor, always ready with a joke to entertain. He held a special place in the lives of his grandchildren, always taking an active interest in their activities and sharing in their experiences. Mark was a man of strong faith, finding peace in his relationship with God, encouraging others and trusting in the plan that God had for him. As a provider, Mark worked tirelessly to ensure the well-being of his family. For many years, Mark held a position as a Quality Manager at Triad Magnetics. He was a vital contributor to his company and they were like extended family to him. Though his time with us was far too short, the legacy of hard work, intelligence, and perseverance will live on to the countless lives he touched.

Mark Stephen Colburn resided in Temecula, California for 35 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Janet Colburn. She selflessly devoted endless hours as his caregiver and advocate. Together they have 4 grown children and spouses, and Il grandchildren: Sean Colburn(father of Anika), Chris and Jenna Colburn(parents of Jake), Cherie and Urs Friess(parents of Timon, Daniel, Johannes, and Jeremy), Jamie and Zach Damon(parents of lan, Zoe, and Jace; mother of Seth and Ali Paulson). Mark is also survived by his son Bob Likens and family. He is lovingly remembered by his extended family, friends, and colleagues.
