Marthalene Dowis

Marthalene 'Mardi' Dowis died on March 30, 2015 at the age of 93. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert and is survived by her daughter, Denise Wood (Randy); brother Paul Schildknecht (Mary); sisters Frances Clark (Paul Allen) and Margaret Birkenholz. She was blessed with three grandchildren, Becky McLain (Mike), Nancy Elliott (Douglas) and Jeffrey Peters. Her two great grandchildren, Garrett Elliott (Emily) and Brittany Elliott brought her tremendous joy and pride. She delighted to spend time with her great-great granddaughter Mylie Elliott. A celebration of her life will be held at England Family Chapel on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 10:00. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Cypress at 1:30 that afternoon.
