Mike Black died on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at the age of 66. A visitation will be held at England Family Chapel on Friday, April 13, from 4:00 until 6:00pm, which will include a meal. The celebration of Mike's life will begin at 6:00pm with Chaplain Jim Clark officiating. Following the service, coffee and dessert will be served. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. You can donate through their website at www.mdausa.org.

It never seems fair to me when someone who has such a kind heart, a great outlook and nothing but smiles for everyone, has health issues that cannot be overcome. Even though we had lost touch over the years, he will always be remembered as the special person he was. Hugs to the whole family. Love, Joe and Renee
It’s been a pleasure being Mike’s neighbor and friends these past several years. We enjoyed our frequent chats during daily mail runs. Our dog Sadie always looked forward to his visits. He will be greatly missed. Our neighborhood just won’t be the same.

My cousin Mike was the coolest guy ever. He was always full of life and good cheer. He will be sorely missed.
What can be said about my dad except in my eyes he was the anyone good ask for. I look back at what he taught and how back I didn’t agree with it he was ussually correct and I now find myself doing the same with my child. I know he will always be looking down and protecting us all and hopefully there when I need some guidance. I will always remember the good times as well as the lessons learned, I could not have been taught better by anybody else. I will never forget him and always miss him so much. I love you so much and will take care of mom to the best of my abilities.
