Peggy Jean Garza

peggy garza
Peggy Jean Garza, 55, of Temecula, Ca. passed away March 30, 2014. She was born in Los Angeles, Ca on July 30, 1958 to William and Marie Schuffert, joining into the family of her brother William and sisters Melissa and Alice. Peggy met Carlos in Huntington Beach, CA at a Father's Day picnic at the beach and soon after began dating. After a quick dating period realized they were meant for one another and were married July 7, 1979 at St. John Vianney in Hacienda Heights surrounded by their family and friends. Peggy's most memorable accomplishments in life were her two boys, John and Jason. She enjoyed being a homemaker and caring for her family, often times even welcoming in the boys friends and treating them as her own. She most definitely had many that thought of her as a second mom. As a family of four they enjoyed camping and road trips and raising several dogs including Dede, Bear, Yoshi, and Roxy. Anyone who knew Peggy knew of her strong love of all animals but dogs held her heart. Whether it be a new puppy or a senior dog, they caught Peggy's eye and heart and her face would light up if a dog were in her presence. Peggy's favorite time of year was the holidays when she could decorate her home, shower her loved ones with gifts, and have the family over. In recent years Peggy spent her free time with her Granddaughter Aubrey, spoiling her with unconditional love and always surprising her with a new gift. Anything involving Aubrey you could guarantee Peggy would be in the front row seat with a gleaming smile. Peggy is survived by, her loving husband Carlos, her sons, John 33, and Jason 29, her daughter-in-law Jenna 29, and granddaughter Aubrey 4. She will be deeply missed, forever loved and in our hearts.
