Randall Pruett
September 9, 1970 ~ July 9, 2012
Randall “Randy” Joseph Pruett came into this world on September 9, 1970, in Riverside, CA. He was a very happy baby that had a bald head and one freckle. Growing up he was an avid athlete who played soccer and baseball. During his high school years he began building and racing off road trucks. After graduation he remained active in the soccer community both as a player and as a coach. When he graduated from Cal State San Bernardino in 1998 with a degree in mathematics he accepted a teaching position at Valley View High School. It was here he met his future wife, Laura, who was a fellow teacher and his mentor. He began competing in triathlons which led him to his passion for cycling. In 2006 his life changed dramatically when his precious daughter Kaitlyn was born and he took on his favorite role of stay-at-home Dad. When Kaitlyn was old enough to start preschool he went back to teaching in the Temecula Valley Unified School District. Randy will always be remembered as a kind man of great character and integrity. May he rest in peace and watch over all of us who loved and respected him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider a contribution for Kaitlyn's scholarship fund. Thank you!
