Dick and I were best friends growing up in Albany NY. We both joined the Navy about 1952 . He became a Hospital Corpsman and I went into the Submarine Service. He went to Korea and we didn’t see each other for a long time. Dick was in the VA hospital for a little while after discharge and my future wife and I visited him several times. Dick was my best man in January 1957 when we got married. We lost touch after that as he moved away. We were always together growing up on Grove Ave in Albany , playing basketball, softball ,and other things. He played on the JV basketball team for Vincentian High school in Albany. I tried to find info on Dick through the internet and stumbled on this site. This is and was my closest friend growing up . If you wish to contact me , my phone # is 518 438 8113.
My sympathy to his family. Tom Glenn, 4 Ayre Dr. Albany NY 12203
My dad was a kind and gentle soul. He loved life and wanted to enjoy every minute with the people he loved. He loved music and would sing to me as a child. He always made sure I knew how much he loved me.
