Roberta Rodgers

roberta rodgers
Roberta Anne (Bobbie) Rodgers went home to be with her Lord early Sunday morning, December 12, 2010. Bobbie had lived in Temecula, CA for seventeen years. She was preceded by her husband of 48 years, James Calvin Rodgers. Bobbie loved the traveling and adventure of a military wife, and after finding Christ as her Savior served joyfully and diligently in children’s Bible clubs and school chapels, as well as teaching Junior Church and playing the piano for the churches she attended. She is survived by her three daughters, Debbie Morris, Sandy Gilkey, and Cheryl Hurd, her sister, Connie, her brother, Dan, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in her honor at the Temecula Community Church, 29825 Santiago Road on Wednesday, December 22 at 10:00 AM, followed by a burial service at the Riverside National Cemetery at 1:00 PM. Bobbie was a dear loving wife and mother, a faithful encouraging friend, and a sincere servant of Jesus Christ. Though she will be deeply missed, we rejoice in the glory she now shares with her Savior. Services: 10:00AM at Temecula Community Church on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010 (map/driving directions)

  5. Words can not express the impact you have made in my life. It is because of your love for the Lord and your family that I know Jesus Christ as my savior and I will never forget the day when you showed me from His word how I can be born into God’s family. I will miss you Grandma but I know that I will see you again in Heaven. Romans 5:8
