Rosealma French

French, Rosealma (Roma) of Temecula, passed away September 6, 2011, at age 91. She was born January 22, 1920, in Alpena, MI, to the late John and Edna (LaLonde) Rouleau. Roma married Donald French on June 20, 1942, in Alpena, where they made their home until 1951 before moving to Long Beach, CA. Donald preceded her in death on April 14, 1983. Roma married Ernest Bodnar on October 27, 1984, and moved to Temecula in 1988. Ernest passed away on January 1, 2009. Roma was a devoted wife and dedicated mother and enjoyed her home, family, entertaining, needlework and traveling. Roma is survived by her children, Dr. Edward French (Vicki Gotkin), of Tucson, Arizona, and Ann French of Temecula; her grandchildren, Dr. Lindsay French-Rosas (Carlos Rosas-Torres) and Nicholas French; one great-granddaughter, Chloe French-Rosas; two step-children, David (Mira) Bodnar and Denise Lynk; step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; one sister; and one sister-in-law. Roma was preceded in death by two sisters, five brothers, three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law. Funeral services will take place on September 8, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church.
