Ruth Pauline Denson
May 30, 1925 ~ November 23, 2022
Ruth Denson, the 5th of 12 children born to Fred and Florine (Wendling) Kuntz in Blueridge, Indiana, was a sweet country girl with a soft and pretty look. She was a light and precious treasure to her family. She was full of love and compliments with a listening ear and gave loving advice.
She started working at a young age for a nearby family doing household chores and helping the family … and that is where she met her lifelong friends, Martha and Betty. At the age of 17 she went to work in town for Kennedy Carliner and while waiting with her girlfriends outside the armory to go to a dance, a young and handsome sailor saw her and knew he had found his forever girl, Ruth!
On December 8, 1945 Ruth and Ken were married and were blessed enough to have 76 years together with all the ups and downs of love and marriage. They were blessed with 3 children and many, many life long friends. She enjoyed a good, full life and her love and caring helped us all.
She deeply loved her Ken, children, nieces nephews, sisters, brothers, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends, and antiquing before she went into a care facility. She drew strength from her belief in God and will be forever missed in our hearts.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to England Family Mortuary, Inc.
