Scarlet Aquino

September 6, 1969 ~ September 2, 2012
Scarlet Estrella Aquino, age 42, passed away on September 2, 2012 at UCSD Hillcrest in San Diego, California. Scarlet was born on September 6, 1969 in Urdaneta, Philippines. She is survived by her mother and two siblings. Her father died when Scarlet was 2 years old. Scarlet grew up in the Philippines. She attended Elementary at Sacred Heart Academy in Quezon City and went to high school at St. Isabel College in Manila. She excelled in higher education and got her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at Far Eastern University Manila Philippines. She had a passion of helping and teaching people of all ages. She was an elementary school teacher from 1933 to 2006, and served the Lord as a Sunday school teacher of the Church of God in Dasmarinas, Cavite. Scarlet was a strong dedicated believer in the Lord. In January 2007 Scarlet embarked on a new life and came to America. She was so excited to see her other relatives. She was proud to make a life for herself here in the US, as a loving caregiver to a very kind woman. Scarlet was very dedicated and nurturing towards this lady until she passed away in 2010. Since then, Scarlet found her second home in Temecula and San Diego. Scarlet was full of life! She embraced and thanked the Lord each day. She was loved by many because of her charming and loving spirit. She was a gift to all of us and words are not enough to describe her. You would notice whenever Scarlet entered a room, she filled it with love, joy, and laughter. Her genuine laughter would give you a tear of joy and that your jaw would hurt from laughing a lot. In simple words, Scarlet would think of others first before herself. A viewing is scheduled for Thursday, September 13, 2012 at England Family Mortuary from 5-9 and a Funeral Mass on Friday, September 14, 2012 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Temecula at 10:00.
I am so sorry for your loss of Scarlet. I would like to share a few verses that have comforted me in my times of loss. 1 Peter 5:6,7 assures us of God’s loving concern for us. And Rev. 21:4 contains His promise to wipe the tears from our eyes and eliminate death forever. Please accept my sincere condolences, Lori Williams
