Surrounded by her beloved family, Sharon Edith Miller, left for her heavenly home on July 21,2024. Sharon was born in Salem, Il. on June 10, 1937 to Regis and Dorothy Parks and she lived every day of her life in between those dates to the fullest. She loved to travel, especially if there was a casino at the end of the trip. She loved getting together with friends and family and she never missed an opportunity to meet up with them. Holidays were especially important to her and when she became too frail to decorate her home for the holidays, she always managed to recruit a few willing helpers to pitch in and help her.
Sharon married the love of her life, Charlie Miller, on September 7, 1975, and they shared many adventures together in the 41 years they were married. They loved to travel in their motor coach and they saw the United States and Canada and met many new friends through their association with their coach “rallies”. He preceded her in death on March 27, 2016.
Sharon is survived by her daughters Cherilyn (Ken) Liles, Malinda (Jim) Margiotta, stepson Roger Miller, Dean Miller (Janis) and Gail Miller. Her stepdaughter Terry Miller predeceased her. She loved and was so proud of all her 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
The family will welcome friends at a remembrance gathering Thursday Aug. 1 , from 5-8 PM at the England Family Mortuary in Temecula.
Services will be Friday Aug. 2 at 11:30 at the Centerpoint Church, with burial to follow at Temecula Cemetery.
Sharon was very close to her mother, Dorothy, and sisters Eleanor Williams and Merry Jennings, who were all, we are sure, waiting to celebrate her reunion with them in Heaven.
