Toya Renee Spratley

Toya Rene Spratley (Walker) of Winchester, CA. was born on February 14, 1970 and entered into rest on December 09, 2021. She was born in Portsmouth, VA., and attended Norfolk Public Schools until the family moved to California where she graduated from Serra High school. Toya worked various jobs before she moved back to Virginia. Where she met her children’s father Terry Cox. Toya was affectionately known as T, T-time, and Auntie. She worked hard to help her family, friends, and helped raise many of their children. She was a jack of all trades from a bus driver to home healthcare worker. She was respected and a blessed soul to be around, through her trials she persevered to make a way for her two girls no matter what. She maintained the house with 2 jobs until the girls moved out. If you ask me, she had three or more jobs until she passed. Toya was a shoulder you could lean or cry on. Like her mother in many ways, she was a rock and a strong foundation for others. This beautiful soul loved to cook, and loved her children. She is predeceased by her grandmother Dora Barnes and grandfather father figure Emmit Sullivan; her mother Sandra V. Walker; 3 aunts, Jacqueline Levy, Eula Marie Walker, Cheryl L. Georges; 2 uncles; William Barnes and Antonio Barnes. She leaves to cherish her memory her 2 daughters; Alya S. (Matthew) Thoene of Coleridge, NE. Alexandria E. Walker of Winchester, CA. 3 grandchildren; Kayleigh, Jaxon and Gabriel Thoene of Coleridge NE. Her father David M. Walker Jr., 1 brother David M. Walker III, 2 sisters; Samantha M. Walker, Darkesha L. Walker of Winchester, CA., nephews: Phillip L. Green Jr. of Las Vegas, Marcellous K. Green of Los Angeles, CA., Marcus J. Walker, Donnell Blount Jr of Winchester, CA., De’Aire Green of Amarillo, TX.; 2 aunts; Alexzina Griffin of Rochester, NY., Ronnie A. Moton of Radcliff, KY., 1 uncle; Marcel Barnes of Rochester, NY, 1 great aunt; Evone Walker of Norfolk, VA., and a host of family and friends.
