  1. Dad,
I Love You and Miss You. I pray you are with our loved ones that have gone before you in Heaven. I am glad you are in no more pain. You lived quite the life. I read your story a few times, that you wrote back in 2018. You must have had a Guardian Angel watching over you. You had so many amazing and dangerous adventures. I pray that I will see you one day again. Love you, Bev

  2. Uncle Virgil, you remind of Dirk Pitt in the Clive Cussler novels. You had a very exciting life. Peace be with you.

Kay, Beverly, Debbie, Sharon, Patrick, Anita and Janice, I am so very sorry for your loss. Hope we all have long life genes.

    Most Sincerely,
    Sissy

  3. Dad,
You were my first love and my always hero. We will cherish your memory and hold tightly to the love we all shared with you. You are greatly missed and deeply loved.
    Love,
    Debi

  4. Virgil was a great friend and co-worker at Autonetics/Rockwell Int’l ; a great man and gentleman. Donald Rasque

  5. I’m sorry to learn of Virgil’s passing. I will forever be grateful for his genealogical work, The Fordhams and Related Families. It contained information that was unavailable to my dad because his father passed when he was only 12 years old. My dad never really knew his family’s history. Virgil’s book filled in a lot of gaps in our family history long before DNA. He did the real work. He was my dad’s second cousin, and though we never met and only corresponded briefly a few times, he was family.

    • Hi Matt – I just found your post. Yes, it was wonderful being married to someone who also loved geneology. We traveled all over the country and Europe researching. Virg was a special individual with many talents. Miss him a great deal. Thanks for your input! Kay Fordham
