'In Heaven the Dodgers Always Win the World Series.'Virginia (Ginny) Asmus, mother of five (David, Joyce Guibord, Bill, Bob, and Tina Shaunessy); Grandmother of 15, Great Grandmother of 13, died peacefully at her home in Temecula on March 3, 2010, surrounded by many of her loved ones.Born September 25, 1927 in Inglewood, CA, she is survived by her 2 sisters, 1 brother, and her extensive immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, and grandson.An avid Dodger fan, she was charismatic, outspoken, loved life and those she shared it with all while thoroughly enjoying pushing the buttons at the casino and her bowling league.Mom was so loved and will be missed by all. A one-of-a-kind woman, may God enjoy her as we have.Services will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 11:30am at England Family Mortuary in Temecula, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Valleys. Services: 11:30AM at England Family Mortuary on Saturday, March 13th, 2010 (map/driving directions)
