William Cole

A celebration of the life of William 'Bill' Cole will be held at England Family Chapel on Thursday, April 15, 2010, at 11:00 with Pastor Jim Clark officiating. Bill passed away on April 7, 2010. He was born on August 13, 1932 in Torrance, CA. He attended Redondo Union High School, graduating in 1950. Bill retired from Western Electric after 33 years of service.He loved traveling with the Senior Club, Line dancing, and writing, having published a book in 2009 after many years of writing. He was a member of the Torrance Moose Lodge and the Seniors Golden Years.Bill enjoyed his Harvesters Sunday School class at Rancho Community Church.He is survived by Linda, his wife of 46 years; daughter Pamela and son-in-law, John; son Chuck and daughter-in-law, Carol; daughter Lisa and son-in-law, Scott; sister Charleene; grandson Wes and his wife, Erin; Granddaughter Cambria and grandson, Coby; as well as seven great-grandchildren, six nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends and Granddog, Dusty.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Valley. 25240 Hancock Ave. Ste. 120.
